They actually do rent them. I was in Bill Clinton's motorcade around 1999 and we rented them from a car rental in Beverly Hills. These were white vans though but still...they were rented.

Was Bill riding in them too? Or just SS? The article I read said the SS were driving Biden and his family around in the 5 vehicles listing each type of car. It’s just bizarre!
