You better not take digital payments for $600+ and fail to file your 1099-K unless you want an instant audit, sadly.
Venmo, Paypal, Cash App and others already turned over the information electronically.
Any idea if it's retroactive for the year or if the 600 sitch started after a certain date?
It applies to 2021 and you'll need to report it in 2022 if you've made more than $600 from these type of payments.
