Today, my heart rate is elevated and I don't like it. Never again.
Today is my first official day sober with the intent of never going back. Ever onward.

I have quit many times over the years, then I had a 3 week streak of projectile vomiting whenever I drank, even if it was 1 drink, I was launching. Turned out my appendix was leaking! After I had it removed, I didn't have the desire any more. Prior to this, I prayed that God would just make me hate it so I would stop wanting it. I truly believe my appendix leaked to get me off the sauce. It's been 2 years in September and I can truly enjoy life without having to blur the edges. I just wanted to throw in some support for you, making the decision is half the battle, even if you made the decision 4 months ago and went back. Keep fighting! I have no advice, each of us is on our own journey, but know that I will pray for you & know that prayer is powerful! God Bless!
