Because of the impossibility of getting all the Republicans to vote for a MAGA candidate. RINOs would prefer commie lunatic Hakeem Jeffries to any MAGA speaker.

Agree. The Speaker needs to be trustworthy, honorable, and NOT 'mostly ok' as he is controlled or blackmailed.
