Assange, yes. Snowden, no.
Hollyweird released a movie making Snowden look like a hero…that tells me all I need to know about whether or not to trust him. Where’s the movie about Assange? It won’t happen (putting him in a positive light at least), but it should…
Snowden didn't release anything that was not already known by foreign nations. The EU filed a lawsuit against the US for using those very same spy technologies (by name) for manipulating European stock markets with insider trading information gathered by that spy tech, years prior to Snowden.
And, that MSM story was pulled off the internet within 30 minutes of its emergence as a front page news story, never to be heard of again. And you, and every 4chan so called "autist" and every other internet whiz kid will never, ever find the proof that I was witness to. But please, do prove me wrong about that if you (or anyone) can, find that news story, or any other information about that lawsuit.
Hint: The story was on FOX, (or maybe CNN) website, about 1-4 years prior to Snowden. And, the lawsuit named the exact "secret" programs that were used to manipulate the stock markets.
I do not doubt that Snowden was under orders from the CIA. But I disagree with the alleged reasoning for his orders. I think it is far more likely that Snowden was given the orders to expose the programs to give the goons who were abusing those programs to defraud stock markets around the globe an avenue to claim "plausible deniability" for their criminal actions. Snowden was their fall guy.
I knew what PRISM was years prior to Snowden, because of a very short lived MSM story about a multi-trillion dollar [EU] lawsuit that has since been thoroughly scrubbed from the net, and all records of it vanished without a trace.
You are missing the point- Snowden didn't release anything that the boobs in our own govt. didn't already lose to foreign nations. And those same govt. boobs lost that technology because they were abusing it to steal from stock markets around the world. They got caught, and the EU launched a multi-trillion dollar lawsuit against the USA, and the EU knew the names and details of those programs- all prior to Snowden.
I know the magnitude of what all that means is a bit much for any of us to wrap our heads around. But Snowden did not reveal the programs. Crooks in our govt. lost the fucking programs because they were using it to steal trillions out of global stock markets, and the incompetent idiots got caught.
I disagree with the notion that the CIA was simply trying to undermine the NSA. While I can accept that Snowdens actions were in part to discredit the NSA, I believe that the primary purpose of the Snowden release was to act as a public distraction to provide a plausible deniability defense for the CIA after they fumbled the technology into foreign hands by their abuse of the technology to rig stock markets.
If the goal of the CIA was to simply expose the NSA, then they could have simply pointed to the fact that the EU filed a lawsuit alleging the abuse of PRISIM, and other programs. There would be no need for a Snowden. Why didn't they blame the NSA for the EU lawsuit? ...
Instead, the EU lawsuit that specifically named PRISM and exposed the secret tech (prior to Snowden) was completely scrubbed from the net, and the lawsuit has never been heard of since. That's a coverup.
Later, Snowden appeared, and has been universally fingered as the source of the leak of those programs, even though I know (from MSM report) that specific details, and illegal uses of those programs were already known by members of the EU. Snowden was a patsy for the CIA to use to deflect, and provide plausible deniability for how those programs really became known to the the public. They became known to the public because the US govt. got caught using the programs to steal. Snowden is a patsy for a far more severe crime than simply leaking classified data.
I heard the talk about Snowden. I think he exposed a lot for us.
I do not question Assange's true intentions as a person. Snowden, I don't know whether he has honor or does not, but, revelations of truth, even awful ones--- Are necessary so I am glad he did what he did.
Time will always tell.
Assange is, but if Snowden is a hero why would Hollywood make movies about him?
Huh? Makes me wonder now.
