Yes. Trying to dehumanize people any way they can. And part of that is all the killing in the “entertainment” industry. Normalizing killing. Making killing “funny”. Romanticizing killing. Making the killer likable. It used to be the good guy killed the bad guy but only if forced into it to save someone else or defend. Not anymore. And all the shows that show dead bodies at the crime scene or at the morgue with all kinds of injuries. Desensitizing people to seeing murdered people…..it’s just another hacked up dead body. None of this is normal or is “entertainment”. Even the commercials are horrible, and they come on without warning and put these images in your head. Once you’ve seen something you can’t unsee it. And what about the kids watching tv that have these commercials pop up. I’m horrified that they see this crap without warning. I know tv shows have ratings and warnings, but apparently commercials don’t.
