I can attest to that. As a powerlineman in Ohio when hurricane Ike came to town. After about 5 to 7 days without power, people started to go nuts. Even knowing we would have power restored in a few more days or a week tops , people went nuts.

I remember that. It was a great window into the fragility of the left. One more week without power and they would have turned into murdering mobs searching for unspoiled food.
