That is a good explanation. However, today's society read this as it is written and this is what has happened in our government. The Democrats have never been held accountable as they know most Republicans are God-fearing people, so therefore they were always forgiven. This time, we will not be so set on turning the other cheek, they will be held accountable, and then forgiven upon their deaths.
