I think there's a lot of room for optimism on several levels.

This was a grand experiment. As such it would've made sense to have some placebos included. If your health has been unaffected that's great news!
Various degrees of potency on the shots. Some weren't kept in the best conditions (temp etc) and may have reduced efficacy due to that.
Individual differences. Some people were CLEARLY majorly affected by these shots. Others much less. Still others seemingly not at all. Your own body may make the difference.
