I recently bought pork loin pack at Costco and was vacuum sealing in small packs. Got to the bottom and the meat pad had Mandarin written on it as the primary language with small Engrish subtitle. China owns Smithfield.

Now that I would not be surprised. We stop eating meat for several years so now we don't buy meat. Smithfield would be the first for the Chinese to buy because they like pork.
