I can't thank you enough for always keeping things biblical in this rage-filled forum. Thank you for your diligence and consistency!
I haven't listened to this excerpt of Mr. McGee's, but here are my guesses:
1-Thank God, yes!
2-Matthew 24:36
3-I don't see a contradiction, could you point it out?
4-I'm assuming it has something to do with what Jesus meant when he said if we know Him, we know the Father
5-It's prudent to defend ourselves and our loved ones but Jesus told Peter to sheath his weapon because He intended to get captured and a fight would result in them ALL dying
6-Not a contraction, Galatians 5:17 is talking about how our minute by minute, in the moment desires come from the spirit and the flesh and those two oppose one another, whereas Ephesians 6:12 is talking about the eternal conflict we are in, where our enemy is not flesh, as in, not people themselves, but the spirits and powers in high places, ideas and arguments.
How'd I do, teacher?
Thanks again for being a good influence in this place!
...close enough to perfection....
