If you don't have any extenuating circumstances that would indicate the need for a colonoscopy, you can always do a non-invasive, mail-in home test. Ask your doctor if you would be a good candidate for this.
Get it done - my husband has had it done twice & each time they’ve found polyps & removed them w/out instance (which can become cancerous). I had a friend that died of anal cancer - and he wasn’t gay- just never got check ups - believe me you don’t want that.
