This makes me so sad. I have twelve chickens and I have invested a lot of time, labor, money, and love into making sure we have a steady egg supply at our house. Most people do that for their chickens. This event is a crime against humanity and a crime against nature.

I have hens as well. Many people don’t realize that when you spend time with them, they become members of the family.

Indeed. I never thought I'd get attached to my chickens, but they are such fun animals and I love them. I would be devastated if this happened and I really feel for the people who are losing their animals in Ohio.
