on the one hand we've been systematically stripped of our individuality, our freedoms and our health. we've been manipulated into hating and committing crime against each other on the individual level, war and genocide on the macro level. We find it hard to concentrate, hard to be patient and generous. The good have been marginalized, redirected or murdered. The evil have been encouraged and supported, their corruption spread like cancer.

on the other hand are hints, clues and the occasional moments of clarity when you feel what's right. You feel an unerring sense in your gut of what's true. You're tapped into the true source of humanity at moments when the near constant influence of evil hiccups for a brief, beautiful moment. Or when we simply push through and penetrate it. You can only want more and you have to fight every moment to feel that pulse of truth trying to break into your life.

what we represent is the unbreakable human spirit. that little chunk of good, of God in each of us. the will to fight for what's right instead of taking the easy path. We will win just like all lies come to light. Like all slaves become free.
