Another good reason to run your own DNS and possibly get a VPN......although, I wouldn't get a commercial VPN, I would rent a seedbox or other virtual server from a service in a country with no blocking, and set up your own VPN to that.....
I use nord. I am not so techie that I can do that. Not everyone could.
The reason i suggest to do it this way is you have control over all points. You dont have to worry about whether you trust a company or not with regards to the vpn. The seed box or virtual server would still need to be contracted though, but there's plenty of them that you can purchase anonymously.
I understand it seems like a daunting task, but there are instruction sets out there that show you how to do it.
Besides that, i feel like if more people began to learn about techy stuff and had a better understanding of how it works and what limitations it has, people wouldn't get taken advantage of by various companies as much, and users would retain a lot more privacy thru good habits.
Everything seems complicated and opaque until you understand it, at which point it seems simple...
I will look into it. Thanks.
