Former President Donald Trump asked a federal court to prevent former Vice President Mike Pence from testifying before a grand jury.

Is this a feint on Trumps part? Maybe to make the DS rabid to get Pence’s testimony which will end up being a nothing burger or worse for them, an exoneration?

Possible play on VP's role for election certification and being able to force the VP to testify against executive privilege. Biden had to certify Trump's election in 2016 and there were numerous complaints, however Dems failed to meet the judicial standard for objecting certification.

I think it was like a dozen times Dems interrupted in 2016 but didn't have a member from house+senate signed, whereas Trump had a couple that were signed by both iirc in 2020.
