The Mandela effect? I believe it is a gigantic experiment using a Quantum super computer to change small details across the entire internet and see how far they can go. I think their goal is to change history. We just witnessed a couple Mandela effects: Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson - they changed the official version - it now says “hit by a smooth criminal” instead of “struck by a smooth criminal”. Even worse is Britney Spears “Oops I did it again”. Remember she was wearing a black MICROPHONE on her head the entire time she sang in the red jumpsuit. The black microphone is GONE - but even worse, in the official Vivo video - no microphone, and if you watch closely, there are mistakes in the digitizing and her head looks fake and plopped on and totally wrong!!!! This is going too far, and I am positive at least some of this is HUMAN created via a super computer (as opposed to supernatural).

I believe it's a lot of people with really bad memories. I am the opposite and remember almost everything. Occasionally, I check things and find that I'm correct. For example, I remember the local taxi phone number I learned back in 1959. A few years ago, I check to see what it was, and it was the same as what I remembered. I can remember anything I choose to, plus a ton of irrelevant trivia that just gets stashed in the memory banks. I know the words to thousands of commercials, tens of thousands of popular and country songs, and more.
Also, a lot of people are easily influenced by suggestion. You quote one of these made up things, and they say "Oh I thought that too." But they probably didn't until that very moment.
Jif peanut butter has always been Jif, never Jiffy. The TV ad said "Choosy mothers choose Jif." Skippy is the one ending in "y."
Mandela never died a long time ago. He just wasn't in the TV headlines for a few years, so some people just assumed he was gone and were surprised when he died later.
BTW, as an example, Dick Van Dyke is still alive, so don't be surprised when you hear of him dying in a year or so. He looks pretty good, but he recently plowed his car into a wall.
So far, what I've seen of quantum computers is that they are almost the size of tube type lame computers from the 50s. Refrigeration is the biggest part of them. They have a ways to go yet.
Chick-Fil-A was Chic-Fil-A 100% sure about that one.
