A few weeks in the spring here in San Diego in Mission Trails where I hike , there’s hundreds / thousands of tarantulas on the trails. They are really slow , blocking the trails , if they walked any slower they’d be walking backwards ,,so u have to zig zag around them so not to crush them . the tarantula hawks are buzzing all over the place and they swoop down and grab them and drag them into these holes, it’s sad actually , what’s even more sad is , as I’m walking around fascinated by them the guys ( I’m a girl ) hiking the same trails are running away like little girls.. I’m in San Diego remember lol !! However , to be fair ..Guy or girl some people are freaked by spiders .. as for me , snakes , rats , spiders don’t bother me , but if a cock roach shows up .. I’m gone , beyond freaked and never to return ! Those things have traumatized me !
