The moral of the story is, "DON'T GET ON THE F***ING BUS, EVER". Stupid guy could have just hid in his attic with a bucket, some jugs of water and some crackers. Or ran away to some safe state.
If he had carried on living in his house, his use of electricity and water would have been giveaways, because so many places have "smart meters" now. That was the main reason for smart meters in the first place.
I fought against those stupid things years ago.
The character in the movie would have been caught if he used his water and electricity supplies. But, could have survived if he broke into other houses in his neighborhood and used their supplies. Dumbass. I would NEVER get on the bus.
