Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
I read Revelation as these things are taking place now. Spiritually all the events of the Revelation of Jesus Christ are happening in the saints, in the called, chosen, faithful.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
He who has an ear are the called, the chosen are overcoming daily, the faithful overcome every adversary that makes war with the Lamb.
Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
There is a present spiritual significance to having power over nations. There are many spiritual influences(nations) in our lives, to know the Lamb is the supreme power, enables us to take spiritual control over our entire world, every nation submits to the power of the Lamb.
Ah, the morning star to each who overcome. The spiritual significance of the morning star is much greater than I can tell. There is Joy in the morning.
Revelation 3:1 I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.
There are times that we have given up on the perfect.
Maybe we don't even know we are dead.
Hold fast to what remains, repenent, get back what you've let die. Jesus Christ calls the church to repent, to find the perfect way, and commit to it.
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
We are clothed in righteousness when we overcome. The book of life is functioning in our life, we're not blotted out.
If you feel blotted out, there is life in keeping that wich is true in the spiritual reality of Jesus Christ in our lives. Overcome by keeping the word of the Lamb.
Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Keep the word of Jesus Christ. In the midst of termiol with the false church, the testimony of Jesus Christ will be your strength and light. The word of Jesus will be seen in your doctrine and deeds. You follow the Lamb, you keep his word you affirm the name, and spiritual reality of Jesus Christ, and all will see it, all will know, Jesus loves you.
Keep his word.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3)
We are patient with the false church when it rises up against us. Jesus Christ expects us to endure the suffering, to be patient. The grace of God shines through when we lovingly, patiently keep the living word of Jesus Christ. We are called to suffer, this is our spiritual sacrifice, it is a heavenly work.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The woman that produces the man child is the church, the bride of Christ that nourishes, feeds, makes strong full grown sons of God. The woman, the bride, the nourisher, the church that perfects the saints.................makes the dragon wroth.
That wroth dragon will continually make war on the church because we keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. This is the spiritual reality of spiritual warfare. We are equipped to win.
Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Spiritual reality in the present heavens of our life.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
There is that patience of the saints again. When loved ones are going through trial by fire we are patient. The whole world around us might go through a type of hell, and we are patient. We've learned to trust that Jesus Christ knows what he is doing. Jesus Christ knows the ground he will take. Jesus Christ has taught us patience, by continually keeping the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
When the world burns we ate patient. A sea of glass mingled with fire.
Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
We're either keeping our garment or We're walking naked.
What is spiritual significance of covering ourselves? What is this garment? Walking naked is walking in the flesh, in the carnal, in the adamic.
We are to clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Putting on the covering garment of the present living spiritual reality of Jesus christ is an act of the will of the zeal of the saints.
Jesus Christ constantly is with us, as a garment.
Keep your garment.
We've all went ungarmented and fealt the shame. Jesus Christ wants us to live garmented in his Holy presence all the time 24/7.
Jesus Christ doesn't just want a little of us, he will have all of us. There is no second option, it's all or we will go through some judgment to bring us to the place of all. By this time we are thankfully say all Lord Jesus all!
Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Those are the last two "keep" verses.
We are to keep the sayings of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we are to be patient in our waiting, we are the body of Christ making the devil wroth. Jesus Christ reigns in the saints in the church in the midst of the dragon's fallen kingdom.
That a spiritual interpretation of Revelation, it is realized bit by bit if we have a mind to keep the sayings of the book, we are called, chosen, and faithful. Jesus Christ will surely make his Holy presence known in the saints.
