FTA: "...yesterday I was reading about how Biden is the most Irish President ever. According to the article he is 5/8ths Irish. The article was about his heritage etc and was introduced with the recent meeting with the Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar. It transpires that Mr Varadkar was born in Dublin, his mother was also born in Ireland.
But then we have a little bit of a problem as his father is of Indian descent and only moved to Ireland in the 1970’s! The reason I say this is a problem because, according to the way Americans work it out, the Irish Prime Minister who was born and raised in Ireland, is less Irish than Biden.
So when you are telling me (as the article was doing) that Biden is more Irish than a real life, born and raised there Irish person, I am going to laugh in your face!
Interesting, but any relevance to what we're doing here?

However, the main reason for posting was to point out that the political leader of Ireland isn't even (imho) Irish!

Just that country leaders are being replaced by puppets from non-native families (e.g Rushi Sunak in England).
