Have you noticed people seem to have disengaged from a lot of sites (Rumble, Telegram and so on evident by view counts, ratings, likes, etc?

I've noticed this over the past 3-6 months. Viewership seems to be down tremendously. I think many are becoming tired and ready to move on with their lives. Jesus take the wheel.
I think there's a lot of moving parts as to why this is, I can only speak from my own perspective (I think this and the other post are a relevant reaction to what's going on)
on this site, for me custom communities never really ended up becoming a thing beyond the few main ones; it just didn't feel like people spread out, and people may have just left the site
As a neutral comment, "mainstream" places like Twitter seemed to open up again and I see there is a lot more conservative stuff circulating on other popular platforms like tiktok or snapchat, so people may not feel a need to come over here as much as there are mainstream "options" (so the bad thing is that these places aren't necessarily better, but good that there is freedom to speak to a wider audience elsewhere and that such ideas are circulating). Some smaller reddit alternatives failed (like Ruqqus) and posters are a little tired of the small sites at this point.
politically I think a lot of momentum was lost because Trump saw the mail-in vote scheme and apparently failed to plan for it and related alleged election steal efforts, failed to stand up for the J6 prisoners, and continues to push the vax a bit. There hasn't been a viable alternative so people are still kind of stuck with Trump even though he has alienated a lot of supporters, like with that "big announcement" that ended up being Trump cards.
this makes some of us wonder if trump was ultimately working for the other side, however if those who want to control everything had total control, they would just implement such control, so it seems clear the people still have some control. It's hard to get a read on what Trump is really about; in my view, there really is no plan, he's just kind of improvising, but really that's life, there are many things you can't plan for.
In my view the "vax" kind of ended up failing in our favor in some ways and has woken up a lot of people who are now even more distrustful of any of these kinds of proposed "mandates", although at the same time there are a lot of losses. I have personally always been skeptical of Q, but I end up seeing a lot of things posted on this community that seem interesting for discussion (so that's why I have come here).
I think also to some extent some people feel "everything has already been said". Like I feel like a lot of major groundbreaking ideas have already been shared. We still see things come out, but a lot of main ground seems covered, maybe? At the same time, there's plenty of work to do, so people are maybe off working until a time when it might be good to have discussions again.
tl;dr we had a changing social media landscape, political momentum has stalled a bit, a lot has already been said, and people are probably just busy
