It's not a new problem. EG: Large tech companies in Silicon Valley can't convince people to live in the bay area. Some of them even built housing or rented shuttle buses to get employees to the office.
Now the problem has re-surfaced with the Hollywood writers' strike. If you hear any news about writers making six figures, that's actually a poverty-level salary if you need to live in LA.
So California's high cost of living has impeded big tech, and Hollywood, two of the largest money-laundering schemes for woke politicians.
If they can kill the West Coast, the Globalists will buy it....
