Austin, TX – May 13, 2023: Yesterday, the Texas House passed SB 14, a bill that protects children from harmful and dangerous gender transition surgeries, procedures, and puberty blockers by a bipartisan vote of 92-48.
Statement by Jonathan Covey, Director of Policy for Texas Values Action:
"Finally, Texas kids will be protected from harmful gender mutilations and doctors will have to follow the cardinal rule of modern medicine: 'Do No Harm.' This bipartisan effort shows that the vast majority of Texans know and understand that kids need real help, not false hope."
Some of these Texans truly do not see the bigger picture. Still throwing fits over the uvalde situation when laws like these are likely saving dozens of lives every day!!! That adds up, children don't need hormone injections! No more "sex Ed". Why are 4th graders seeing diseased genitals!!??? Being told that they're the reason for slavery. Disgusting.
They're lucky to have Abbott and Cruz!!! Truly godly men who follow common sense and truth in the face of an insane world.
