Thank you! I'm so sick of these crusty Christian's condemning others who do not share a mirror identical worldview.
un freaking beleivable that some "Christian" is sure she's a fraud christian and into porno from watching 8 seconds
Please share the verses in the bible that support your critical condemning posting based on your subjective intuition?
"The faith that you have, have as your own conviction before God, Happy is the man that does not condemn himself by what he approves"
There is a verse in the Old Testament (can't remember the address) but pretty sure it has to do with the prophet Samuel talking when he said David was to be King
"For Man see's, not as God see's, for Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the Heart!"
Love covers a multitude of sin
Without Love we are clanging Cymbals
I thought the comment was strange as well, especially when they ended with the topic of ex-addicts. I mean, isn’t that what we want them to be ex addicts? I am one, so I found that very strange.
Her Rescue song is highly supportive in the war against child trafficking. I've been aware of her for a long time. Not every single successful person is evil. No wonder we are all so jaded though considering how illusions are crumbling around us every moment.
Me too fren. My spirit don’t jive just like lucre and all these other famous Christian’s. The company you keep. But I havnt met her therefore the spirit hasn’t had the opportunity to give me confirmation. Always trust the spirit!
She has refused to answer when questioned about abortion and she caused controversy years ago when she did thr same when asked about the topic of homosexuality.
As a Christian celebrity, you are held to a higher standard, and will be expected to discuss such moral topics as abortion, and homosexuality.
As a celebrity, and being Christian, she should be prepared to discuss such matters, an advocate for her Lord and Savior, from whom which she claims to be a part of.
She should not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, no worries, prepared to give an answer for her beliefs.
Lauren Daigle whines and moans all through her music to the point it's basically pornography.
I knew an old Christian preacher who loved her music almost exclusively.
He was also a porn addict.
All the time my family was in church, and in charge of musical programs, we considered many vocal techniques she uses to be telltale signs of Thirsty Whore. Generally they would go on to prove themselves as such shortly after....
Singing as if they are in the midst of sex, not a solo for God but a mere audition for partners.
A quick Google search reveals her lukewarm stance on homosexuality.
P.S. I only listened to her for about 8 seconds before rightfully concluding I was listening to one of those "ex" addicts..
Interesting all of your comments, but what is wrong with ex-addicts? Isn’t that what we want them to be? Ex - addicts? Seeing as how I am on myself, and serving the Lord, I thought that was a good thing. Hmmm
Too bad. So sad. There are MANY of us in Christ! So basically, you ACTUALLY think you are better than anyone who did drugs. Interesting!
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,”

Not better. It's just heroin is very, very powerful and some damage you cannot undo. You can't un-teach your brain the pleasures of heroin. You get high on the shit a couple times and congratulations, you can't even see a commercial about recovery without desperately craving it.
I've known many heroin addicts in my life. "Oh he was recovered for years and years but he relapsed and he did his mid-addiction does and OD'ed."
The last one I had to deal with I literally locked him in a bathroom and beat the shit out of him and threatened to call the cops on him(never was gonna do it)for the entire time he was high. So sick of his shit. He did better. I put the fear of God in him. He didn't do it for months. His health slowly recovered. He relapsed. He dead.
And another. He relapsed and left behind a 3 year old.
Too many times I have seen it. I know a junkie that hung themselves because none of their drug contacts would give them more heroin.
If you have a heroin junkie in your life you can consider them a dead man walking.
It is true there is an exceedingly rare breed that can be a "functioning heroin addict," well-insulated enough that no one will let them OD, too intelligent to push everyone away that could help them. The rockstar heroin addict so to speak. And even then, I've known so many of these people and I've only ever met one non-junkie heroin user.
Me, I had one of those heroin analog pills. Roxycotin I think? I snorted it with my friends to see the hype. I nicknamed it "sweet cocaine." The high was absolutely fucking fantastic, probably the best pleasure I've experienced in my entire life. They asked if I liked it. I told them. "That was the nicest cleanest strongest high I have ever had in my entire life, I feel like I didn't even know what high was before that." They both smiled, the girl absolutely beaming as she said, "Wanna go get MORE???? 😁"
And I said, "you don't understand. That shit was so good I never wanna touch it again, ever."
The girl looked disappointed as she should have been, because I was about to forcibly remove my friend from her life as well and they were dating.
Sorry to hear you had so many bad experiences with people using drugs. It seems like to me they were trying to do it in their own strength, and yes, I could be a huge problem. Relapses are common among people trying to do it in their own strength. However; if you do it in the strength of Christ, the success rate is much higher. The chance of a happier life is much higher, and I have seen so many people successfully quit using drugs, and never turn back. So many. That’s why I put that scripture in my reply to you.
So just to clarify that, yes, heroin, is a different animal when it comes to drug addiction. And I do agree with you that it is more difficult for somebody to quit heroin and have a successful life. Something about that drug does seem to pull people back into that life style much easier.
I myself I’ve never done heroin, but I’ve done my fair share of drugs. I’m so grateful to the Lord for my salvation, and my deliverance from my addiction. I’m never turning back, it’s not of any interest to me, because the life I have now is so much better. Also, I don’t affiliate with any of the people I used to affiliate with. I don’t even drink alcohol. I don’t need it. My sufficiency is in Christ.
Here’s my testimony. From one of the users here that has a channel called Prayer Garden I’m sure you’ve heard of him.
He has suffered addiction and has a testimony as well!
If you know anybody who is struggling with addiction, and you would like to see them have a better life, perhaps you can just share our testimony with that person. There’s no reason for people to live without Hope. And our hope is in Christ.
It's the music industry. Doesn't matter whether it is rock or christian music, it is mostly run by evil people.
think Katy Perry started out as a god-fearing evangelical type before she sold her soul for fame and fortune.
Amy Grant
So true!
She is real and lovely! Not sure about American Idol

Then Jesus said: “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” John 7:24
Jumping to negative conclusions about anyone without research to support your bias is unacceptable.

So, with that, I'm wary of her.
Interesting I didn’t know that. Thank you for sharing.
Can't have anyone keeping their opinions to themselves, now, can we!

I hold the opinion there is no such thing as an ex-junkie.

One last thing
Originally you had said, ex-addict
And then changed it to ex-junkie
