No to digital dollars: 1) to easy for those in control to shut it down based on your speech, politics, etc. 2). To easy to be hacked, 3) trade in gold coin instead, or dollar backed gold-convert money in the bank to gold backed dollars, get rid of Federal Reserve notes.
It's a loaded term but "digital dollar" doesn't have to mean CBDC. There are blockchain mechanisms for minting and burning coins and if you peg a system like that to gold and make them interchangeable, that would be the best of both worlds.
