Oh wow, I was going to post a thread called Russian Coup: Mutiny on the Oka River. where are they now part two when new NEWS just broke
Russian Coup: Mutiny on the Oka River. Where are they now part two *About a week ago, I posted a thread on trying to figure out what is going on in Russia. https://greatawakening.win/p/16bidCGbFS/russian-coup-where-are-they-now/ One of the key points was where was Prigozhin
June 26th seems to be the last time we heard from Prigozhin.
Well we know more now......*

Russian President Vladimir Putin met mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin after the failed Wagner group mutiny last month, the Kremlin says.
The rebellion, launched on 23 June, lasted only 24 hours.
Under a deal to end the mutiny, which saw Wagner troops seize a city and march on Moscow, charges against Prigozhin were dropped and he was offered a move to Belarus.
Kremlin spokesperson Dimitry Peskov said the Wagner chief was among the commanders who were invited to the Kremlin five days after the mutiny collapsed.
"The president gave an assessment of the company's actions on the front," Mr Peskov is quoted as saying by Interfax news agency.
"He also gave assessment to the 24 June events. Putin listened to the commanders' explanations and suggested variants of their future employment and their future use in combat."
**According to the spokesman, Prigozhin told Mr Putin that Wagner unconditionally supported him.
The Wagner chief's current whereabouts are unclear.**
I was going to post that in the past few days the head of Belarus said Prighozin never went into exile and stayed in Russia.
There seems to be a lot of news coming out today. More in comments.
It seems this week might be the big walk down
First Time Gerasimov was seen since June 24th https://www.wsj.com/video/top-russian-general-seen-for-first-time-since-aborted-wagner-mutiny/FE7A809B-9EDB-4A2A-94A8-CBEFBA1D6AD3.html

Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko said: "As for Prigozhin, he's in St Petersburg. He is not on the territory of Belarus."
In response to Mr Lukashenko's remarks the Kremlin said it was "not following" Prigozhin's movements.
Must've been a funfest.
I see no new news on Gen. Sergei Surovikin who was said to be arrested because knew about the mutiny
I'm calling this the walkdown, because last week Russian TV was attacking Prighozin, they broadcast a raid on his mansion and showed the weapons, gold bars and wigs they claimed they found. Several pictures of Prighozin wearing wigs and disguises were released. They also claimed they found a photograph of severed heads https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e22V9155yAA
So last week Russia media was going after him. And his popularity has gone down in Russia. Photos like this in various wigs and disguises seem intended to humiliate him.
Wagner troops are said staying at their bases in Russia, to be on vacation by Prighozin's orders. With further news to come in August. Footage of the camp they are supposedly moving to in Belarus has been shown.

One thing going on is that people are calling Wagner's move a *mutiny *and not a coup--Prighozin did not want to go after Putin, but wanted to fight against the Russian military to stay independent.
Prighozin hates the Russian minister of defense Sergei Shoigu and and Shoigu wanted Wagner forces to sign a contract with the Russian military and not Wagner.
The background to this was the Russian Military was making a move on Wagner https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/06/11/7406364/
Shoigu made his first appearance two days ago.
It was in some information a mutiny by some of Prigo's troops against Prigo - which seems to have been spun into a few other narratives. A few months ago, if I remember, Prigo pointed out that Wagner was bearing most of the brunt and the cost in lives on the Russian side, and Putin indicated that they would soon receive relief in the form of replacements so Wagner group could take a break. But the mutiny against Prigo by some of his troops may be evident in the fact that troops were offered to continue with Prigo or go to join Russia army. I am thinking CIA was working to make some of Wagner group be dissatisfied or even flip. Regardless, it appears that some are now on vacation or lighter situations, and the turncoats, if any have been dealt with, just as was planned.
