The FedNow instant payment system from the U.S. Federal Reserve is now live, with the central bank claiming that the service will enable individuals and businesses to make quick payments and receive funds within seconds.

Most people I know have no idea about this or what it is.... but the few that I’ve talk to which have heard about it, sadly think that it’s a good thing. I’m not so sure that this will meet much resistance

Same with the people I know. If it means more "secure" and "easier" payments then they usually say "well why not, sign me up". Drives me crazy.
