Just learned that a friend of a friend was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma. She’s a nurse so it’s possible she worked in an old hospital and got exposed to asbestos there. But for the last several years has been a telehealth nurse. The diagnosis comes as a surprise, she is probably stage 3 with a large tumor in her abdomen. She just went to Europe about a month ago and I’m guessing here but she was fine then? Need to check into this but if so this might be one of those turbo cancers we are hearing about. I will follow up if I can, of course this is a sensitive subject with my friend.

46-year-old friend of a friend. Suddenly diagnosed with a nasal tumor, treatment was planned but then it was 'too large/invasive' and he went directly to hospice.
Died this weekend.
