1 Get a deep freezer( I bought brand new for 200$ ) 2 Get in on a meat pool
I paid $600 for a 1/4 of a cow. Tons of Ribeyes, fajita meat, stew meat, liver , tons of ground beef, strips, round steak, and whole bunch of other cuts. Probably saved me $1500 from the local grocery store.
Reach out to local ranchers and communities. Start by locating feed stores and calling them asking about ranchers or meat pooling.
I have a retirement house just outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Not too far from my house are several ranches that actually run retail stores on their ranches. You can go and buy straight from the rancher as much as you want. Kinda like a farmers market for meat and poultry.
Would you please list the ranchers? I am on the west side of Phoenix, and I am looking to purchase meats from a rancher instead of the big box stores.
This is the one we use but there are others: https://adamsnaturalmeats.com/
Thank you so much!
