Gun confiscation was literally the point of Paul Revere’s ride. He rode to warn people that the British were coming… to confiscate the guns in the armories of Lexington and Concord.

Why were the guns in the armories? Because the British had demanded citizens turn in their guns for safe-keeping.

Never again.

There are still armories nowadays. But they are in the basements of everyday guys in every small and medium sized towns.
