I learned cursive but it still looks like a 2nd grader. What went wrong? My friend was freaking yesterday because she washed the bedroom remote by accident and I was like “listen to music.” She said “oh wow, that would be really nice.” LOL were kind of doomed though. I know people who don’t know how to address an envelope. It’s funny because when I was a kid, my mom would have us do “school” when we were on vacation to learn random things. We loved it. I think kids should be homeschooled now. That was one of my most fond memories-having off from school and learning how to sew on a button or cook or write letters etc.
I remember my mom always making us di homework over the summer to keep our minds working and growing. (She wasn’t the best mom, but I’ll give credit where it’s due.). She sid try to teach me canning and sewing but her teaching style was so overboard I couldn’t learn from her but did in school and from ly Grama. I spend nearly half of the years of k-3rd grades home severely sick with asthma, bronchitis, laryngitis, tonsilitis, pneumonia, colds and flues. I was literally allergic to everything in my horribly unclean environment too. But my mom always went to the school, brought home all my missed assignments and made me work on at home so I didn’t fall behind. I’m not the smartest cookie but I graduated with a 3.0 (never got through algebra or chemistry stuff though.
