I don't think it's much AI in the video, the voice-over sounds real (though I'm not discounting synth advances in the last few months) and the animation method seems to be "old-fashion" automatically lip synced to a sound file and run through an image morphing setup (Notice how it's only the head area that moves, it's usually an artifact of only the head have the morph mesh).
I rip and synth real people's voices to use as CG voice-overs in hobby projects. Even the most advanced voice synths, as of a few months ago, were detectable as fake by those who know what to listen for.
A high quality animation for sure though, there's lots of neat visuals - A fake lamp to visually explain the shadow angles (which by them selves hints at a light source close by), the overlay of dust in the air and so on.
Edit: After browsing through the videos and looking at how they're produced, I think the audio is synthesized. All the older episodes are clearly synth and I seem to be able to make out some of the typical synth voice crust on episode 1 of the new run.
I have been both anticipating and dreading the day where consumer voice synths are indistinguishable from the real thing. I think we're there now.
