It is the next latest thing, to be used to inflame our emotions for specific policy goals.

We care about human suffering. There is human suffering all over the place. Which human suffering are we intended to pay attention to?? The human suffering that they exploit for specific policy reasons.

We don't need to play that game with them.

I care more about the innocent people illegally and grotesquely jailed for Jan 6 than I do for the entire middle east.
