I don't think this will happen, even though it's very interesting. The VP historically acts as the 'attack dog' during the campaign so that the presidential candidate can act more presidential. I'd love seeing TC rip apart any DVP candidate and use his show to basically run an OANN on steroids Trump campaign. Would be a hoot.
