Long but good article. Points that resonated near the end about this city as this is happening across our country.
'In nearly every other arena of life, we see people and organizations in a competitive environment rise to the challenge. When a sports team gets better, its rivals do, too. When a restaurant or department store becomes more popular, its competitors up their game as well, offering better value, better service, better quality, better ambiance — whatever it takes to win back the customers they’ve lost.
Only in politics do we see this apparent disinterest in results. Only in the sphere of state and local governments do we see politicians uninterested in the decline of their cities, the indigence of their population, the loss of opportunities for the generations to come.'
MY FRIENDS, it's time to blow up the system and change the dynamics. It's time to punish corruption with penalties so harsh, criminals (white collar and politicians) are deterred. It's time GOOD, HONEST people ran our govt, schools, military, banks, etc. It's TIME to fix voting and STOP ILLEGAL immigration.
Yes, most articles on American Thinker are somewhat lengthy, but usually well written and to the point.
There are many times where I will read the last paragraph or two just to see where the article headed to, and in most circumstances I'm on board and read the entire article.
I'm going to do that next time, go right to the end! Thx for the tip and have a good day:)
I did that with the Bible a long, long time ago. Started with Revelations.
It awakened me then, and I'm much more awakened now (in many different levels)..
