I feel badly for those that are absorbing the blow of this insanity. I’m financially insulated but I see the effects. This shit sucks.

curiosity here, but how can you be financially insulated? Lots of invested money that goes up with inflation, or you just grow your own food?

It’s a non-braggadocious way of saying I’m wealthy enough that food, gas, etc. prices don’t have a significant effect on my bottom line. And I do have a big garden.
