Amen from a Fellow Old Soul that’s very thankful he’s a Boomer and was raised by parents who taught and Modeled Values and Principals based on Truth !!!

We "protect" our kids... however when you go out into society and interact with people, you see the demons and their behavior. You have your kids with you, and talk to salespeople who tell you about two people who they work with that have kids that are transitioning. You see "two Moms" with kids, and people loudly talking about their gay family. You take your kids to scheduled playground time with a group you thought was more conservative, to have a "Mom" show up that is visibly a MAN, dressed in yoga pants, a sweater, earrings, and too much makeup. The other Moms are too afraid to avoid the imposter to call out mental illness. I avoid him, however they talk to him to act inclusive and not be accused of being whatever. You have people around you talking about how the giraffe their kid drew looks phallic, and the Moms are all gathering around to giggle like they've never seen a pe*is before and they are 14. You have men making sex jokes, demeaning their wives, and cussing. People are seeing sex in everything, and our kids hear it and see it. Men are demeaning their wives ("you get along with her unless she is cold, hungry, tired, impatient, overstimulated, plus whatever" and they all laugh, while I stand there feeling bad because I get cold, hungry, tired, impatient, overstimulated.... damn it for being human.
Anyhow, you can protect your kids, however it's out there. A public school friend one of my daughters has talks to her about how upset he is seeing two boys kiss in the hallways. We homeschool, and we can't protect her from her friends and what they say.

it's out there, and we have to just learn to make it a teaching moment. I am trying to have my kids have a healthier view of sex, not see pe*is's and b**bs in everything, not joke about sex, not demean people they love, and not be exposed to the evil in the world. However, it's there, it's everywhere, and you can't protect them.

They play in the dirt, don't have electronics unless we need them for school, have great friends, however we need to teach them to have healthy views, not the evil views the world is trying to impress on them. I am so afraid they will be lonely adults, however I am counting on other people who are trying to raise their kids healthy so they can get married and have healthy relationships and families!

Besides, look at this board. "make me a sammich" and deameaning views of women are prevalent, even on "our" side. A lot of the comments even on this board make me cry for our men and women.
