But all these Martyrs - from those murdered in the Colosseum and in the Circus Maximus to the Catholics still persecuted in the Chinese communist dictatorship with the complicity of the Vatican -
Let's not forget Pope Innocentius. During the siege of Beziers when Arnaud-Amaury (the Cistercian monk commanding the Church's forces) was asked how to tell the difference between a heretic and a believer, he said, “Kill them all, the Lord knows who are His”. 20000 People (women, children…) perished that day.
Estimated the Catholic church killed over 100 million Protestants during the great cleansing called the Inquisition. Jus sayin!
It's really hard to take anything you say seriously when you claim the Inquisition killed 100 million people. That's so asinine it's comedic. You think the inquisition killed almost a tenth of the world population at the time? Atheist scholars with no bias on the subject estimate it was probably in the few thousand, no more then 10k. There's plenty of 1st party sources that back this up to. What are your sources for the 100 million number?
Don't take anything I say seriously. I don't care. I shouldn't have just referred to the Inquisition only. I was actually referring to all the people killed through the ages by the Catholic church. The church wiped out many communities. the Waldensians and others. Just in the Americas millions were slaughtered. Entire civilizations.
