People might want to be a bit cautious with some of this. Everyone thought the Dutch farmers protests were awesome until it turned out that they were sponsored by huge agri-business.

One of the biggest reasons for farmers anger is new environmental legislation. Giant agribusiness will also lose billions, and so are giving lots of money to farmers protest movements to protect their profits
