A new University of Michigan-led international study finds that fruits and vegetables grown in urban farms and gardens have a carbon footprint that is, on average, six times greater than conventionally grown produce.

Funny how big farmers are supposedly an environmental hazard. Now small farmers are even worse.

But flying all over the world in kerosene-burning private jets? That's just fine...

They'll keep the bare minimum of us around to take care of things for them.

Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it.
