You are looking at him from a US viewpoint, he is very right wing if anything, the right wing of the UK is much different from the US model. They are the party of the elites, Boris is one of them as are all his mates from the elite schools and universities they all attended. As for a pedo, I don't know if he is one or not, and I don't think he is in the black eye club as yet.
