Quite honestly, I wouldn't mind having BACK, the 15 minute city I grew up in!

Within a 5 minute walk:

7 or 8 Mom 'n Pop grocery stores

1 Supermarket

2 Pharmacies

1 Donut shop

2 Restaurants

1 Clothing store

1 Bakery (Oh! the afternoon smell in the air!)

1 Pet Store

2 Gas, Service, Filling Stations

And that's just what my "kid's mind" remembers.

Put me on my bike, and I could own the world within 15 minutes.

Edit: And the Elementary schools were in each neighborhood. & I could see the hospital & a couple of doctor's offices from my porch!
