Casualties of this war… relationships, marriage, financial independence, home ownership, and so on Seems the faster the drips are happening, the more
🧘Mental/Physical Health 🏋🏼♂️
Quickly things are falling apart personally. Been self-employed for more than 15 years, shrinking disposable incomes have left significant losses (more than $100k) in sales last year alone, forcing the sale of the family farm. Stress has now increased to a point my spouse drinks heavily everyday as an escape and I’m left being the “grown up” in our relationship. Lost more than 15 lbs since the holidays, lack of sleep, Tired of struggling with what seems no relief
Sure would appreciate prayers and any uplifting recommendations for an escape, if not just a momentarily.
You are amongst some of the most brilliant minds. As u/blacksmith21 said. Pivot!!!!
You have to put out details (in the sense of cattle farm, veggies, local farmers markets etc) and you will have brilliant minds collide. Early days of truth, a “child” expressed the hardship her cattle farming family was having. She pivoted and now they're farm to table. Internet orders. Find the niche. People wanted to eat healthy.
Hope is never lost. Money sucks. Wake up everyday to the beauty that surrounds you. I tell my kiddos all the time that life is hard, it’s not a straight road. We have lots of twists and turns, they make us stronger and teach us lessons. Eventually, we’re exactly where we always wanted to be. So, put on your big girl pants or panties, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, and do what you have to do today! You’ve got this!
Thank you. I've own(ed) 4 companies over the decades and I get hardships and challenges businesses face. Some days you want to stay under the sheets, other days it's launching out of bed to address an idea or up until midnight getting thoughts onto paper. Depending on the nature of the business, there's almost always an innovative alternative.
Exactly! Love the term pivoting…
