Conservatives tend to be more practically-minded thinkers. Many will look at what's in front of them and resort to the tried and true methods of addressing the situation, focusing on what is rather than what could be. They're in touch with the present and favor simplicity over grand ideas and big narratives.
Leftists on the other hand tend to have a very different approach towards viewing the world. They're more likely to be dreamers, and their dreams might not even resemble their practical experiences. Leftists are abstract thinkers. They pick up on subtle narratives and constantly look for the origins of what they see around them. Conservatives ask: what is? Leftists ask: what could this mean?
Now unfortunately, most people outsource their opinions to third parties.
The "big" questions in life tend to be answered by whichever institutions are strong enough to inculcate the population. When institutions are weak, those big questions become dynamic once again and are answered most strongly by the dreamers of the world. When people no longer trust their priests and government officials, they turn to the artists, writers, and philosophers for answers.
Conservative thought patterns are highly valuable when society is stable and the big questions seem settled. When things are dynamic, we see them falter time and time again. That's why the "right" has been playing defense for the last thousand years or so. People who are stuck in their ways will never win when everything is in flux. The future will belong to whoever has the vision and competence to execute that vision on the world, while the rest will remain helpless bystanders to history.
So what can "the right" do to address this?
First, I think it's important to focus on principles rather than concrete historical manifestations of them. At the heart of conservatism is the proposition that there is a way that stands above historical contingency, given to us by our creator. Liberals believe reality is invented by man, conservatives believe reality is invented by God. Even conservative leaning atheists will follow this general pattern of thought.
What we're lacking today is a strong civilizational worldview. Why do we do the things we do? Why does reality as we know it exist? What should the future look like? These questions go unanswered when a civilization has died. They're answered once again just before the start of a new cycle. Whoever can answer these questions with the utmost confidence and paint a picture of the world, they will set the tone for generations to come.
I couldn’t disagree with you more. 🤷♀️
How come?
This entire statement is incorrect.
Conservatives tend to be more practically-minded thinkers. They're in touch with the present and favor simplicity over grand ideas and big narratives.

First of all, you’re trying to break down people into sides. Left versus right. This is what the deep state wants. They want us divided and they want us to believe that we’re separate entities. We are not, and we are all human and made in HIS image. Yes, there maybe points where we disagree with others, but the whole idea of the left versus the right is strictly from Satan.
Secondly, your statement also claims that conservatives are more practical, and liberals are more artistic. That is a false statement as well.
I have some very, very conservative friends that are very artistic and view, the world, more free-flowing and idyllic - , while still sticking to the conservative values. For instance, somebody can be a woman married to a man, with two children, and still be very artistic and free-flowing with their surroundings. Nothing practical about that. According to your ideas, if you met her, you would think she was some type of hippie. She is Not! She is the person God has created, and she is living the life he created her to live. She’s an individual.
Being conservative or liberal, should not have anything to do with how God created us. God created us as individuals. Each one of us has a different path and a different calling. However; there has been some studies, that prove that a first born child will be more likely to be a type A personality. A leader. While the youngest would be more likely to be creative and a comedian. These are strictly based on birth order. However, there are many discrepancies with that thought process as well.
I greatly dislike when people take an entire group of people, and put them into some kind of category to make life comfortable for themselves. Whenever I hear the term boomer, I just rolled my eyes. It’s this type of thinking that will keep us in this never ending cycle of nonsense.
This is only anecdotal, me personally… I’m 60 years old, I’m not married, because my husband died 15 years ago. I have blue hair, and I am 100% sold out for Jesus. I’m a pet sitter, and I make tie-dye shirts for fun. According to your thinking, I would be a liberal. Not many blue haired Christians, but I don’t fit the mold of a typical conservative. Why should I? I am fearfully and wonderfully made in the eyes of the Lord, and I will continue to walk in the steps that he has created for me.
Break away from the molds, and allow people to be who they are without putting labels on them. The world would be a better place.
(because of peoples bias, in the thought process of how to approach one another in public… I have been able to cross over the aisle, and tell a person Jesus loves them, without any type of pushed back. The blue hair seems to short their brain cells out, while they’re trying to figure out why somebody with blue hair would tell them why Jesus loves them. Generally, I get a big smile on someone’s face - too bad society has to think this way 🤷♀️)
I’m going to continue being a person walking around, made in HIS image, and sharing Christ every day with people even with blue hair. 👏👏👏
