I wonder what they are trying to accomplish by the "door knocks"?

All I can think of is intimidation, maybe... but if that is the case, I don't think it is working out as they intended.

I think what they're ultimately hoping for is one of those dangerous right wing extremists they keep talking about to open fire on them so they get their news story. But they'll take intimidation factor.
