Theoretically, the first amendment puts God and satan on equal footing, which is absurd. The US Constitution must explicitly state that Jesus Christ is King and Christianity is the Official Religion. Other religions can be tolerated but must be subordinate. And stupid religions like freemasonry, islam, judaism, and wicca should be criminalized.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Federal government cannot outlaw Christianity or satanism, and it cannot promote Christianity or satanism. Fed is, in theory, supposed to treat these as the same ... which is stupid. Why would you allow an evil thing like this to exist? The people are clearly stupid enough to fall for it, and those who realize what's going on are very limited in their powers to turn the tide. The Federal government needs to be expressly and explicitly Christian, at least profess Christ to be King and Lord. None of this freemasonic, liberalism religious freedom TRASH.
isn't "other religions can be tolerated" the whole idea of freedom of religion? not in opposition to the idea of being a Christian nation. Freedom of religion not only promotes peace among those who haven't come to Christ, but also among the many different types of Christians
No, freedom of religion only creates a vacuum. You have to understand history and where we came from. The West is really Christendom, but a desiccated and weakened form of it. Christ was King in the nations of Europe, but liberalism imposes religious communism and makes all religions equal. Now Christ is on the same footing as zeus or satan and the ones with power and money are making sure Christ gets sidelined while satanism is promoted.
no, Christ is not on the same footing as Satan. Lol. Christ has truth.
and is no good to anyone that doesnt seek sincerely, anyways. forcing beliefs on someone doesn't save them. all you can do is present the option and let them reach their own conclusions.
If by 'freedom of religion' you mean ridding the nations institutions of all references to Christianity... I would of course agree. AND I would restore them where they have been removed.
But that's not freedom of religion. USA can have a Christian identity without doing away with freedom of religion.
that freedom is obviously necessary to accomodate the wide variety of Christians, anyways.
But legally, in the US, Christianity and satanism are on equal footing, bc the state cannot outlaw either but must accommodate both. That's why you have afterschool satan clubs and the explosion of wicca.
