I remembered making a post here months ago, I am sure some of you might remember this thread:

But anyways me and my family are currently at a hotel, long story short. I just noticed this one soldier with all of his equipment and gear he was carrying inside the building, I unfortunately couldn't see any of his patches or anything.
Another soldier however walked out almost the same time as him, however I managed to clearly see his patches and his name as well.
It seemed like he was trying to take it off since it was hanging on the sides, but I saw the words "Mountain" underneath the patch where the symbol had two swords crossed together in black ink.
For a second I couldn't believe my eyes, so I searched up the insignia I saw on his patch and sure enough. It belonged to that exact division, interesting times are ahead I can see.
What do you guys think?
Ask them!
I served 22 years in the Navy and held an TS/SCI clearance while flying missions in the EP3 surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft platform. You can ask. But you will never get the real answer because you do not have the need to know unless you are involved in the mission that may or may not be in progress. You will most likely be told a lie than the truth if mission tactics deems it necessary.
I get it. Sometimes though it’s the nod or wink or what they won’t say that can be revealing. Worth a shot imo especially from a fellow vet.
