I agree is sketchy, but my friend has his own small plane and for his logs he has this metal clipboard thing with a pen built into it, so he uses the same pen every time because it's right there.
Understood: ink could be the same. Handwriting will vary, regardless, unless you're an old school engineer who hand details designs and whose lettering is REQUIRED to be near perfect and consistent. My lettering sucks, thank God for computer software.
Day to day, flight to flight ... no way the handwriting would be so consistent. Also ... same pen? Same color? Gimme a break.
