People have already been talking about Biden's lack of cognitive function. They've been talking about it for years.
I just don't see how this is "playing" anyone. I'm not ragging on President Trump. If he got someone's name mixed up with another, that's no big deal. It happens to everyone.
But be honest. Who here actually thinks that this will change how anyone thinks about either of them? It's not as if a liberal will suddenly have a "come to Jesus" type event and realize Biden is a human potato and will become a Trump supporter.
And obviously a Trump supporter isn't going to just ditch Trump because he made a simple error.
But come on. We need to stop all this "5th dimension chess", "secret comms", type thing every time the man makes a typo or gets a name wrong. It's just silly. Trump is human. He's not Jesus Christ. He makes mistakes sometimes. Just like everyone else. It's ok to let him be human and acknowledge he made a mistake from time to time. There's no need to do damage control for him.
I think this is the type of thing that pushes normies away from us and is what's behind all that "They're a cult!" garbage. He's not Jesus. He's not perfect. He makes mistakes. It's ok to let him be human. Trying to turn every mistake into some secret win is not necessary.
